Lower-Extremity Venous IVUS Imaging Dataset for DVT

Seeking 150 lower-extremity venous IVUS cases for deep vein thrombosis (DVT): 85 acute, 55 subacute, and 10 chronic cases. Original DICOM cine loops or IVUS pullbacks from Philips / Volcano systems are required, with clinical records supporting thrombus-age classification. Routine venous Doppler and external ultrasound are not eligible.

Specific requirements

  • Modality: catheter-based intravascular ultrasound (IVUS); clinical indication: deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Routine venous Doppler ultrasound and standard external ultrasound are not applicable.
  • Anatomy: lower-extremity venous system, including femoral, iliofemoral, and iliac venous segments where applicable.
  • Equipment: Philips / Volcano IVUS systems. Confirm the IVUS manufacturer and system used.
  • Required format: original DICOM cine loops / IVUS pullbacks.
  • Each case must include supporting clinical / procedural information allowing thrombus age to be classified as acute, subacute, or chronic. Confirm whether this classification is available in the clinical records.
  • Preferred additional imaging: corresponding angiography / venography from the same procedure, where available and linkable to the IVUS case. Confirm linkage availability.
  • Data must be suitable for de-identification and research / AI use under the applicable institutional approval and data-sharing process.
  • For initial feasibility, confirm the approximate number of eligible IVUS cases, anatomical venous segments covered, and available study date range.
  • Confirm expected pricing per eligible, de-identified case and estimated timelines for sample and full-volume delivery.
  • A small sample can be reviewed first for technical validation before proceeding with the complete dataset.
  • Allocated project budget: 7.2L to 10.8L, inclusive of taxes.
