Shoulder CT and MRI Imaging Dataset — Five Sourcing Options
Assessing availability of shoulder DICOM imaging across five options: same-patient paired CT + MRI, paired CT + MRI with Dixon 2-point, MRI-only with Dixon 2-point, MRI-only three-plane T1/T2 fat-saturated imaging, and MRI-only single-plane / sequence imaging. Mixed shoulder pathologies and demographics are acceptable; suppliers should report qualifying volume separately for each option.

Requirement brief
Specific requirements
- Anatomy: shoulder. Format: DICOM. Mixed shoulder pathologies are acceptable.
- Mixed demographics are acceptable; no fixed demographic distribution is required at this stage.
- Option 1 — Paired CT + MRI: CT and MRI must be from the same patient. CT slice thickness: maximum 1.25 mm. CT reconstruction: bone kernel and/or soft-tissue kernel. MRI slice thickness: 1–5 mm. MRI planes: axial, sagittal, and coronal. MRI sequences: T1 non-fat-saturated and T2 fat-saturated. Indicate the typical time interval between the CT and MRI acquisitions.
- Option 2 — Paired CT + MRI with Dixon 2-Point: All Option 1 requirements apply: same-patient CT and MRI; CT thickness maximum 1.25 mm with bone and/or soft-tissue reconstruction; MRI thickness 1–5 mm, axial/sagittal/coronal planes, T1 non-fat-saturated, and T2 fat-saturated. MRI must additionally include Dixon 2-point imaging. Indicate the typical time interval between the CT and MRI acquisitions.
- Option 3 — MRI Only with Dixon 2-Point: MRI slice thickness: 1–5 mm. MRI planes: axial, sagittal, and coronal. MRI sequences: T1 non-fat-saturated, T2 fat-saturated, and Dixon 2-point.
- Option 4 — MRI Only, 3-Plane T1/T2 FS: MRI slice thickness: 1–5 mm. MRI planes: axial, sagittal, and coronal. MRI sequences: T1 non-fat-saturated and T2 fat-saturated.
- Option 5 — MRI Only, Single Plane/Sequence: Any one of the following is acceptable: T1 coronal, T1 sagittal, T2 fat-saturated coronal, or T2 fat-saturated sagittal.
- Report the approximate number of qualifying cases available separately for each of Options 1–5. For paired CT + MRI options, report the typical CT–MRI acquisition interval.
